Anvil's Anthony Corsano Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year

Ernst & Young recently presented New York-based Anvil Knitwear CEO Anthony Corsano with its Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Award in the Retail and Consumer Products category. Corsano accepted the award at a gala event held at the Times Square Marriot Marquis in late June.

"I'm honored to accept this prestigious award, which is a result of the collaborative effort of many," Corsano says. "The entire family of Anvil employees worked tirelessly during the last three years to insure a smooth transition through our restructuring, including the phenomenally successful launch of our AnvilOrganic line."

The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses, according to Ernst & Young. Corsano is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 national program.
