Stahls' Launches Online Digitizing ServiceSept 4, 2008St. Clair Shores, Mich.-based Stahls' recently partnered with EmbWorx.com, an online digitizing company. EmbWorx.com digitizes logos and artwork to create files for embroidery and appliqué. Apart from basic apparel and nonwearables, the company also can digitize for headwear. To get started, customers upload photorealistic or vector artwork to EmbWorx.com, then the artwork is reviewed and a quote is sent back to the customer. Customers can select one-, two- or three-day service. Next, an artist digitizes the design, tests it and sends the customer a scan of the sewn out design. Once the order is complete, the customer logs onto EmbWorx.com and downloads the stitch file. EmbWorx.com employs more than 40 trained artists and offers live customer support Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. — H.H. RECENT INDUSTRY NEWS HEADLINES
