2010 Impressions Awards Deadline EXTENDED!

The editors of Impressions recently announced that the deadline for the 2010 Impressions Awards has been extended to Aug. 25.
Decorators interested in entering the contest now have until Aug. 25 to enter their submissions online. All entry forms and samples of decorated work, which are mandatory, must now be received no later than Sept. 7. See below or details on how to enter:
Apparel decorators, this is your chance to have your work displayed and assessed in the industry's most prestigious apparel decorating competition — the 2010 Impressions Awards.
The 32nd annual contest will be judged at the Fort Worth Imprinted Sportswear Show, to be held Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2010. Winners will be announced on Saturday, Oct. 2.
Decorators of all sizes and experience levels are invited to submit their work — the beauty of this industry is that you don't have to be the biggest to be the best. All first-place and honorable mention winners will be featured in the January 2011 issue of Impressions magazine, on impressionsmag.com and through our social networking sites, as well as be displayed at the Impressions booth at all 2011 Imprinted Sportswear Shows.

1. Multicolor Screen Printing on Light or Dark Garments
2. True Process Color Screen Printing
3. Simulated Process Color Screen Printing
4. Special-Effects Textile Screen Printing
5. Manual Textile Screen Printing
6. Most Creative Use of a Screen Printed Logo/Mascot
7. Outstanding Design: A Screen Print Artist’s Award
8. Eco-Friendlier Apparel Decoration
9. Digital Apparel Decoration
10. Multimedia
11. Digitizing Artistry
12. Creative Logos and Mascots — Embroidery
13. Creative Techniques (appliqué, chenille, sequins, etc…)
14. Embroidered Stock Designs
15. Most Creative Use of Heat-Applied Graphics
There's no cost to enter, and you can enter as many of the categories as you wish. The only catch is that we have to have a separate sample and entry form for each entry.
