Custom High-End Garment Design

Custom T Couture has developed a patented technique that lets customers create customized garments that incorporate beads.

A third-generation garment decorator, Zackary Faraj got the idea for a line of customizable T-shirts, Custom T Couture, Fairview, N.J., after seeing the decline in domestic garment production. “After we embellished millions of garments for the dress and evening wear industry, I felt I should apply our knowledge and experience in a new way by offering individuals the same design elements that high-end designers use,” says Faraj, president of Faraj Inc. and Custom T Couture.

In addition to offering printing and design uploading, Custom T Couture also offers “iDesign,” a state-of-the- art Photoshop-like design program that lets customers add clip art or custom images. Beads can be added to designs using a patent-pending beading technique.

“The technique was created, developed and tested by us on millions of dresses and couture garments,” Faraj says. “It is inexpensive, fast and has an amazing sparkle and 3-D look.”

Customers also can decorate with rhinestones, embroidered and fabric appliqués, hot-fix transfers, bead art and beaded clip art motifs that are ready to use and edited to the customer’s preference. Garments are decorated in New Jersey factories and shipped within a few days.

Targeting fashion-oriented clients, Custom T Couture has caught the eye of at least one reality TV personality: Kim Zolciak of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Zolciak promotes Custom T Couture on various talk shows and on her Web site, kimzolciak.com.
