Heritage Sportswear, Gildan Announce Contest WinnerJanuary 12, 2012Heritage Sportswear Inc., Hebron, Ohio, together with Gildan Activewear, Newton Christ Church, Barbados, recently announced the winner of a new car, which was the prize in a contest it held at the 2012 Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) Expo, which took place from Jan. 2-6 in Las Vegas. Kerry Gardner, Northwest Graphics, Utah, will “Cruze into 2012” in a new Chevy Cruze awarded by the two companies. To win the car, event attendees had to guess the number of Gildan T-shirts stuffed into a Cruze parked in the show lobby. The attendee with the correct guess walked away with a three-year paid lease on a 2012 Cruze.
In addition to the car giveaway, Heritage distributed Gildan decorated tees from its booth and awarded attendees with a $25 gas card if they were spotted wearing the shirts at PPAI. More than 800 attendees participated in the contest during the three-day event. For more information, visit heritagesportswear.com or gildan.com. — S.G. RECENT HEADLINES
