Hirsch Video Demonstrates Oversize Shirt PrintingSeptember 28, 2009
The six-minute presentation shows how to load a T-shirt on to dual platens. The demonstration, done on the Mimaki GP604, shows how the printhead automatically adjusts to the height of garment collars, pockets and seams. It shows an oversize print, which measures 16.5" x 24", going right over the collar. After loading the shirt, the operator presses a cycle start button. This moves an optical eye across the shirt to adjust the machine for the oversize design. The printer also automatically overprints every square inch of the design for double coverage.
