Kornit Digital Readies Asia Pacific OfficeAugust 19, 2010Kornit Digital, Rosh-Ha’Ayin, Israel, recently announced it will soon open its Asia Pacific office in Hong Kong. The office’s primary goal is to strengthen Kornit’s presence in the Asia Pacific territory while providing customers and distributors with another channel of communication for their support needs. The office will support Kornit’s 13 distributors who provide technical services to customers in the territory, according to the company. The territories supported by the office include: Japan, India, north, south and east China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, The Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. Among the services provided by the Asia Pacific office will be handling of all deliveries of consumables and spare parts, and managing local inventory. The office also will include a fully equipped training center. Kornit Digital has appointed Marcel Kaiser as the office’s customer support manager. He has 10 years of experience in the digital printing industry and will oversee all customer support activities for the region, as well as provide second line support to all Kornit’s Asia Pacific distributors and their service teams, according to the company.
