Lawson Screen & Digital Products Introduces New Printer SeriesDecember 17, 2010
The T-Series is for printing on garments, bags and textiles; the SI-Series is for printing with LED UV inks on heat-sensitive items, plastics and objects up to 20” x 30”; and the Graphic UV Flatbed is for printing on materials up to 52” x 72”, according to the company. The Lawson Express-Jet Series includes industrial inkjet printers that use industrial print heads that are designed for high-definition, high-speed, variable data applications. Lawson can modify and customize any of these printers to meet a variety of specialty and industrial applications, according to the company. The Express-Jet/T can print allover T-shirt designs up to 20” x 30” and features a rotating platen, along with print speeds less than 15 seconds for white shirts and less than two minutes for prints with a white underbase. The Express-Jet/SI is a direct-to-substrate LED/UV printer for objects up to 6 inches thick and is great for printing on heat-sensitive materials, in addition to all types of plastic items. The Express-Jet/Graphic Flatbed (a moving table design) can print high-resolution UV, photorealistic images at speeds up to 420 square feet per hour, according to the company.
