Network Releases Patriotic T-shirts Based on TV ShowJune 21, 2011
These items are based on the television show by the same name, which premiered on the History Channel in February. The show features comic Larry the Cable Guy traveling across the country to tell the stories of the people, places and things that have defined U.S. history, according to the company. “At a time when patriotism and Larry the Cable Guy’s ratings are swelling, we’re excited to bring to market tees and hats celebrating one of our country’s greatest champions,” says Lynsey Friedman Birnbaum, director for licensing, A+E Networks Consumer Products. “And, with their blend of experience and creativity, Performance Headwear II is the perfect partner to help us grow the Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy brand with branded product.” The shirt will be available in time for the Fourth of July, according to the company.
