SGIA Supports Screen Print India 2010January 19, 2010The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) recently announced its support of Screen Print 2010, which will be held in Mumbai from Dec. 8-10. Organized by Aditya Expositions, Screen Print India is the only dedicated, official sceen printing industry-specific exhibition in India, and this year's show also will include a greater focus on textile printing and a special pavilion on digital printing. The event will be held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSC Ground at Goregaon in Mumbai. "SGIA is pleased to be a sponsoring association for Screen Print India 2010," says Michael Robertson, president and CEO, SGIA. "The bi-annual Screen Print India tradeshow is an important event for the growing printing industry in India. This impressive tradeshow is a product of regional support, and serves as an example of how a regionally managed event serves the global specialty community." Screen Print India 2010 is expected to draw visitors from across India, including places like Tirupur, because of its focus on the textile segment. Delegations from countries across the globe also will be visiting the show, and roadshows with informative seminars will be held in various Indian cities as part of the pre-event activity.
