SWF East Launches Fundraiser at ISS Atlanta

SWF East and its ISS Atlanta staff kicked off a fundraiser at the event to help raise funds for breast cancer awareness and research. The fundraiser included T-shirts decorated with ribbons and rhinestones.
For the first time, SWF East, Tampa, Fla., held a fundraiser benefiting breast cancer research and awareness at the recent Imprinted Sportswear Show in Atlanta, held Sept. 10-12.

“[We] picked Atlanta because last year and this year, SWF has focused on the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk, as well as breast cancer awareness,” says Linda Shahvaran, general manager, SWF East. “The walk is Oct. 30, so we are in the midst of raising funds to support the walkers.”

Show attendees got a chance to see Design & Click, an online tool that lets customers create their own designs — at any time — for fully customized products. Attendees also could purchase T-shirts decorated with ribbons and rhinestones for $5 and $10, respectively. All proceeds went to the The Breast Cancer Society, Inc.

Design & Click includes hundreds of full-color raster designs and vector clip art images. Customers also can add text and change color — all with the click of a mouse. The online tool also includes artwork from Great Dane Graphics.

Shahvaran says Design & Click received a “great amount of interest,” and that the company raised $795 during the three-day show. She says SWF East will continue holding the fundraiser at its next two Extravaganza shows, to be held this month and in November.
